On January 3, 2020, APEC 2020 work and project exchange seminar was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was hosted by the Department of international economics of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting summarized the progress of APEC work in 2019, and deployed the ideas and priorities of APEC work in 2020. As a specially invited expert, Liu Chenyang, director of APEC Study Center, made a keynote speech on the formulation of APEC's post 2020 vision.
