As one of the series of APEC conferences in 2018, the 2018 APEC Research Center Joint Conference was held on May 14-15 in Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea. More than 50 scholars from more than ten APEC members participated the meeting. Center scholars Associate Professor Luo Wei and Dr. Xu Jiayun were invited to attend the conference.
At the meeting, scholars conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on the themes and topics of the 2018 APEC meeting. Two teachers, Luo Wei and Xu Jiayun, gave keynote speeches on the status quo and trends of APEC service industry and service trade development, and had full discussions and exchanges on relevant professional issues with scholars from other APEC members.
